Plane Metal Print
After grad school at Missouri State, I spent four months working at a lodge in Bettles, AK, outside of Gates of the Arctic National Park. Every six days, I had a day to myself, and I usually rode a bike to the little cabin on the float pond, canoeing as pilots landed tiny float planes. By the end of August, it was dark enough to see the aurora, and I'd visit the cabin at night for lack of light pollution, where a plane sat idly by.
This piece is printed on 1/16-inch aluminum and is ready to display.
